Duels and a shootout headlined the week that was for CFL pivots.
The results caused some movement in the Quarterback Index.
Jason Maas and Reilly appear to be a great match. The pair engineered a comeback from 19-7 down to earn a thrilling overtime victory. No. 13 clearly likes playing in the up-tempo offence constructed by the former Eskimos quarterback.
On the road, in a sold out hostile environment, against the CFL’s hottest QB, Mitchell answered time and time again.
A healthy Durant means the Riders are competitive. Inches cost Saskatchewan a real shot at the team’s first win with Chris Jones.

NBA Jam style on fire – that’s how hot Harris has been. If he keeps it up Ottawa would be hard pressed to pull him off the field when Henry Burris gets healthy.
While the Als were on a bye week, Glenn saw another one of his receivers lost for an extended period of time. Kenny Stafford was placed on the six-game injured list with a broken toe.

The 2011 CFL MOP did more in just over a quarter of action than Jonathon Jennings managed in nearly three. Lulay drove the Lions for a touchdown on his second possession and connected on 12 of 15 throws.
When Masoli had Hamilton driving for the win in the final seconds with a chance to atone for costly mistakes earlier in the game, he turned the ball over again. Two interceptions and two lost fumbles – too many turnovers.
Injured Reserve
Hamilton’s franchise pivot has returned to practice.
Credit Hank for supporting Trevor Harris and being a great team player while out with his broken pinky finger.
