Two passers threw for over 400 yards in Week 4 and one other signal caller nearly accomplished the same feat. Ottawa’s starter stayed hot, as did Edmonton’s and BC’s produced a much-needed bounce back effort. Let’s find out what it means on the season-long QB Index.
The Eskimos franchise pivot is making late-game comebacks look easy. Reilly recorded the third 400-yard passing game of his career and it was a lot of fun to watch.
During Calgary’s bye week, Bo Levi Mitchell enjoyed the Calgary Stampede, as did many other Stampeder fans. When he returns to the field in Winnipeg he’ll have to perform without Joe West, who he’s developed a strong rapport with.
The former Argo went into the Double Blue’s new home at BMO Field and showed Toronto what it’s missing. Harris is the hottest quarterback in the league and his 1,475 yards through four games have him on single-season record pace (Doug Flutie 6,619 in 1991).

It was 10-7 Riders when Durant left the game with what turned to be a severely sprained ankle and you got the feeling Saskatchewan was just starting to get rolling. No. 4 has played very well to begin the season.
That’s the Jennings we came to know at the end of the 2015 season. He made plays with his feet and threw the ball down the field effectively for the first time in 2016. The soon-to-be 24-year-old led BC back from a 23-10 halftime hole.
Ray’s been solid, but unspectacular through four games. He’s completing more than 70 percent of his attempts, which is a positive sign.
Chance after chance after chance was there for Willy to score and put Edmonton away at Investors Group Field and he couldn’t get it done. Even though Winnipeg is 1-3 the Bombers could easily have that record flipped if Willy gave them at least above average QB play.
Jennings’ career-best 429-yard performance created some separation between Lulay and the young pivot.
A game-managing effort was put forth by Masoli in Montreal. Hamilton’s defence and specials teams were largely responsible for the victory.
Even though Gale could not hold the lead and guide Saskatchewan to a win after Darian Durant left the game, he looks like a capable passer.
While facing lots of pressure all game long, Cato did not make any terrible decisions. That said it was a struggle for him to get the offence moving.
Injured Reserve
An eye infection kept Glenn out of Week 4 action. Montreal hopes he’ll be ready for Monday night football.
Steeltown’s stud signal caller continues to work his way back from an ACL injury.
That swollen right pinky finger doesn’t look fun.
