Tiger-Cats tweet update on injured DB Derrius Brooks
HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats tweeted out updates regarding defensive back Derrius Brooks who was taken off the field on a stretcher during their 29-26 loss to the Edmonton Eskimos. The Tiger-Cats confirmed that Brooks’ tests came back negative and will be released from a Hamilton hospital tonight.

Brooks joined the Tiger-Cats midway through the season after spending time with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He began his CFL career with Calgary, playing the 2012 and 2013 seasons with the Stampeders.
