TORONTO — The Toronto Argonauts have signed Canadian offensive lineman Peter Dyakowski through the 2018 season, the team announced Thursday.

Dyakowski comes to Toronto entering his 11th CFL season in 2017 after spending the previous 10 seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The 32-year-old joins the Argos after being released by the Ticats earlier on Thursday.

In 10 seasons with the Ticats, Dyakowski appeared in 148 regular season games and 12 post-season games, including the 101st and 102nd Grey Cups. The 6-foot-3, 325-pound lineman was recognized as an East Division All-Star in 2012 and was selected as the Tabbies’ Most Outstanding Lineman in 2011.

The LSU product was originally selected by the Tiger-Cats in the second round (11th overall) in the 2006 CFL Draft. In four seasons with the Tigers, he played 26 games at right tackle, starting in 13, and was a member of the school’s BCS National Championship team as a freshman.
