REDBLACKS promote within to fill Assistant GM vacancy

OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS promoted from within to fill the Assistant General Manager vacancy, announcing Thursday that Jeremy Snyder will step into the role ahead of the 2017 season.

Brock Sunderland previously held the post until he departed last month for the Edmonton Eskimos to take on their General Manager role.

The club also announced that Jean-Marc Edmé will take on Snyder’s former role as Director of Player Personnel. Edmé was previously Player Personnel Coordinator.

“Both Jeremy and Jean-Marc are well-deserving of these promotions,” said REDBLACKS General Manager Marcel Desjardins. “Their work ethic, skill set, dedication and humility embody what the REDBLACKS are all about.”
