Klassen, Oramaisonwu among Alouettes cuts

SHERBROOKE, QUE. — The Montreal Alouettes announced a handful of transactions on the eve of training camp, including the release of national defensive tackles Michael Klassen and Don Oramaisonwu.

Klassen re-joined the Alouettes on a new deal this off-season while Oramaisonwu signed as a free agent from Edmonton as the Als stocked up on Canadian interior linemen.

The Als, led by first-year general manager Kavis Reed, open training camp on Sunday at Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Que.
