EDMONTON — Edmonton Eskimos linebacker Cory Greenwood has sustained a torn ACL and will miss the entire 2017 season, the team announced Thursday.

The 31-year-old was in his first season with the Eskimos when he suffered the injury early this week during practice.

Greenwood signed with the Esks this winter after recording 107 tackles over three seasons with the Toronto Argonauts.

Blair Smith, Adam Konar, Doug Parrish, Andy Mulumba and D.J. Lalama — all nationals — could be in the running to fill in at WILL linebacker, where Greenwood was previously penciled in as the starter.
