LENNOXVILLE — After an injury scare last week, Darian Durant returned to the practice field Monday morning as the Montreal Alouettes resumed training camp.

Durant was forced out of last Tuesday’s session with an injured left knee but on Wednesday, an MRI all but confirmed Head Coach Jacques Chapdelaine’s suspicion that the injury isn’t a significant cause for concern.

“After having undergone MRI imaging and further examination by our medical staff, it appears that Darian did not suffer a major injury,” the Als said in a statement.

Despite returning to the practice field, Durant will not dress for the Alouettes pre-season opener Thursday night against the Toronto Argonauts at BMO Field.
