TMI: Diontae Spencer’s new hobby may surprise you

If you didn’t know who Diontae Spencer was last season, I’m sure you do now.

I’m sure you saw him explode onto the scene in Week 2, racking up 107 receiving yards to go along with a a touchdown, 148 punt return yards and a major score on a return and 96 kickoff return yards. He was a fantasy player’s dream. Did you have him on your team? I sure did! (Humble brag..)

He also earned Shaw Top Performer of the Week honours for his performance. Not bad. Not bad at all.

The versatile, speedy receiver was a little less flashy last week but still made an impact, collecting 122 kickoff return yards and 47 receiving yards on four catches.

You probably know his stats pretty well by now but who exactly is Diontae Spencer?

I’ll tell you he likes to dance. And he’s really gotten into cooking.

Plus, if he never picked up the pigskin he’d probably be a barber just like his dad.

Find out more about Diontae in this edition of TMI:

DS: I would bring a TV, a bed and a cellphone.

KC: If you weren’t a football player, what would you be doing?

DS: I’d probably be a barber. I’d follow in the footsteps of my dad because he was a barber. Or some type of business man.

KC: If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

DS: Crawfish.

KC: Do you have any superstitions you have to do before a game?

DS: No, I just want to go back to being 12 again or go back to being 17.
