There should be no surprise that Edmonton pivot Mike Reilly, Stampeders running back Jerome Messam and REDBLACKS receiver Greg Ellingson remain atop the Fantasy rankings at their respective positions entering Week 10. As has been the case for much of the season, each of them delivered quality efforts for their Fantasy owners last week with Reilly ($14,000) scoring 27.6 Fantasy Points in Edmonton’s loss at Winnipeg and while Messam ($7,745) running his way to 13.7 FP in Calgary’s victory over BC and Ellingson ($6,732) reeling in 21.5 FP as Ottawa topped Hamilton.
This week’s rankings have their share of surprises, particularly at quarterback. BC’s Jonathon Jennings and Calgary’s Bo Levi Mitchell — both of whom stood atop the Fantasy rankings at the start of the season — are sitting in the second tier as both have struggled for much of the season. Jennings ($8,246) enters Week 10 with three straight games under double digits in Fantasy production, while Mitchell ($9,302) had a season-low 7.5 FP last week and has just one game above 20 FP since Week 2.

At running back, the top four remain the same from last week, but the struggles of Ottawa’s William Powell ($5,164) have him sitting just inside the top 10. New to this week’s rankings at the position is Argonauts fullback Declan Cross ($2,500), who has become an option for Ricky Ray and has eight receptions over the past two weeks.
Bryan Burnham ($5,330) is a caustic top-10 receiver despite missing the last two games. If he’s healthy, he will be a much-needed presence for Jennings when the Lions meet the REDBLACKS in what could be the most Fantasy-friendly game of the week. Edmonton’s Vidal Hazelton ($5,162), who left early in last week’s loss to the Blue Bombers, said on Twitter that he was good to go, so keep the Eskimos’ playmaker in mind, especially if Brandon Zylstra is out for a third straight week.
Defensively, the Stampeders ($6,148) are the top choice. Calgary has allowed just 52 points in the last five games and has a pair of double-digit outings in that span.
