EDMONTON — Three Edmonton Eskimos will miss the rest of the 2017 season with injury, the team announced on Tuesday.

Eskimos national long snapper Ryan King has sustained a torn right ACL, 2017 CFL Draft pick and national offensive lineman Jean-Simon Roy has sustained a torn right ACL, and international defensive end Marcus Howard has sustained a ruptured left Achilles. All three players will miss the remainder of the 2017 season.

Howard played in five games this season for the Esks and collected one defensive tackle while King also suited up in five contests. Roy played in just two games so far in 2017 including last week’s contest against the Blue Bombers where he sustained his injury.

The injuries add to an already long list of players missing time for the Eskimos this season as they host the Saskatchewan Roughriders this week.
