HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Wednesday that they have released second-year receiver Brian Tyms.
Tyms joined the Ticats late in 2016 and played in one regular season game and one playoff game. In last year’s Eastern Semi-Final Tyms led all receivers with 8 receptions for 114 yards but was unable to duplicate that performance in eight games this season.
He had 25 receptions, 204 yards receiving and no touchdowns in his eight starts in 2017.
