Playoff Scenarios: Stamps clinch and have home date in sights

TORONTO — The Shaw Road to the Grey Cup is underway and after clinching a playoff berth Sunday with a win in Saskatchewan, the Calgary Stampeders now have a home playoff date on the horizon.  With an 11-1-1 record and sitting comfortably atop the entire CFL, the Stampeders can clinch a home playoff date with a win over Montreal Friday and an Edmonton loss on Saturday.

Should Calgary indeed clinch a home playoff date it will be the sixth straight year they have done so.  The last time the Stamps spent the entire playoffs on the road was in 2011 and have hosted a game in 10 of the last 12 seasons.  They are currently riding a consecutive streak of 13 seasons where they have earned a playoff spot.
