REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added a receiving prospect to their roster, acquiring national Brett Blaszko in a trade with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The deal was announced Monday afternoon and will see a conditional draft choice in the 2018 CFL Draft go the other way.

Blaszko, a former Calgary Dino, was a third round pick (23rd overall) by the BC Lions in 2016. The 24-year-old Oakville, Ont. native signed with the Bombers last June, after spending his rookie season on the Lions practice roster.
