Ottawa fans weren’t the only ones happy about the Week 16 return of Trevor Harris. The REDBLACKS’ field general, who had missed the previous three weeks with an injured shoulder, came back to deliver a week-high 27.2 Fantasy points during the 30-25 come-from-behind victory at BC on Saturday night. His performance was the highlight of a week that saw a host of players cross the 20 FP barrier, including five other quarterbacks.

Harris connected on 27-of-38 passes for 380 yards and three touchdowns as his numbers were .1 Fantasy Points better than Edmonton receiver Brandon Zylstra, who caught seven passes for 201 yards and a touchdown in the Eskimos’ 42-24 Thanksgiving Day win over Montreal, a victory that snapped their six-game losing streak.

Week 16 was fruitful for quarterbacks, as Hamilton’s Jeremiah Masoli put up a season-best 26.3 Fantasy Points. He threw for 338 yards and two touchdowns in the Tiger-Cats’ surprising win at Winnipeg. BC’s Jonathon Jennings also had his best Fantasy game of the season with 25.2 FP in the Lions’ loss to Ottawa. The Eskimos’ Mike Reilly scored 21.7 FP as he benefited greatly from Zylstra, who caught nearly half of Reilly’s 16 completions and all but 85 of his 286 passing yards.

Saskatchewan’s Brandon Bridge put up 21 Fantasy Points after entering the game in relief of struggling pivot Kevin Glenn in the Roughriders’ 27-24 win over the Argonauts, who got 20.1 FP from Ricky Ray.

Even in a different uniform, C.J. Gable led all running backs in FP for Week 16, rushing for 111 yards and a touchdown, and adding a touchdown on his only reception, while helping Edmonton defeat Montreal. Gable, who was traded from Hamilton last week, had put up 27.7 Fantasy Points against Toronto in Week 15. Alouettes’ back Tyrell Sutton tied his career-best with 140 yards, while adding a touchdown along with five catches for 71 yards to finish with 23.6 FP despite Montreal falling to its eighth straight loss.

Three other backs had double-digit production, with Hamilton’s Alex Green putting up 15.7 points in the win over Winnipeg, while versatile threat Martese Jackson finished with 14.1 points for the Argos in their loss to the Roughriders and REDBLACKS runner William Powell continued his recent stretch of solid Fantasy work with 12.4 FP.

Zylstra was one of three receivers who had at least 20 FP, with REDBLACKS star Greg Ellingson finishing with 26.9 FP following an eight-reception, 149-yard, two-touchdown outing against the Lions. In the same game, BC receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux had a season-best 22.3 FP, as he caught six passes for 103 yards and two scores.

Ellingson’s teammate, Diontae Spencer fell just short of 20 FP, finishing with 19.6 in Ottawa’s victory. Hamilton’s Brandon Banks had a third straight game of double-digit numbers, as he put 16.4 Fantasy Points, while Saskatchewan’s duo of Caleb Holley (14.6 FP) and Naaman Roosevelt (13.7) each hit double-digits. Toronto’s S.J. Green put up 13.6 Fantasy Points, as he and the Argonauts fell short in a loss to the Roughriders. Edmonton’s D’haquille Williams had 11.1 FP in the victory over Montreal.

Winnipeg’s Darvin Adams earned 9.4 Fantasy Points through his receiving, yet crossed double digits when he completed a 44-yard pass in the loss to Hamilton, giving them 10.4 FP.
