TSN CFL Fantasy: Who won the season?

The regular season is over and we’re left with two winners in TSN CFL Fantasy – the winner for Week 20 and the overall winner of the season.

The overall winner throughout the regular season is Akauf85, who accumulated 1815.3 points.

It was AdamHunter who ran away with the week’s highest score (141.7). Picking five Hamilton Tiger-Cats last week looked to be the charm for AdamHunter on their way to winning the week.

Take a look at AdamHunter’s roster:

AdamHunter rolled with Jeremiah Masoli (31.5 points), Alex Green (14.8 points), Luke Tasker (16.2 points), Jalen Saunders (10 points) and the Tiger-Cats defence (20 points).

Masoli threw for 318 yards and a touchdown while also calling his own number seven times for 88 yards and a major score in his team’s win over the Alouettes. Green rumbled 11 times for 76 yards and one touchdown on the ground and caught two passes for 12 yards out of the back field. Tasker caught seven passes for 102 yards a touchdown while Saunders also caught seven passes and collected 97 yards.

The Ticats defence stole the show, however, shutting out Montreal while also collecting four sacks and three interceptions.

AdamHunter went with two other running backs to round out their roster, James Wilder Jr. (28.7 points) and Marcus Thigpen (20.4 points).

Wilder Jr. continued his hot play in the second half of the season, rushing 18 times for 136 yards and a touchdown while also catching seven passes for 91 yards in the Argos win over the Lions.

Thigpen was well worth the $2,500 this week, as the running back rushes seven times for a touchdown while also catching two passes for 31 yards and a major score. He also collected 53 return yards in the Riders loss.
