WINNIPEG — Winnipeg Blue Bombers receiver Darvin Adams will not play the Western Semi-Final on Sunday.

Head coach Mike O’Shea told members of the media after practice on Wednesday that the team’s star receiver will not suit up for the Bombers on Sunday.

Adams suffered a shoulder injury early in the contest against the BC Lions in Week 17. In the 15 games he suited up for this season, Adams caught 76 passes for 1,120 yards and seven touchdowns.

Winnipeg will have to rely on the rest of the receiving corps, including Weston Dressler, and lean on running back Andrew Harris as they host the Edmonton Eskimos this weekend.
