OTTAWA — The three early touchdowns in the first quarter of the Eastern Semi-Final made CFL history on Sunday afternoon.

A touchdown was scored on the first three possessions of the ball game becoming the first time ever that the first three drives resulted in a major score.

That was also the fastest three touchdowns to be scored ever in a playoff game and the first two touchdowns were the fastest ever in a playoff game in CFL history (4:07).

Bakari Grant scored the first touchdown for the Riders followed by Diontae Spencer finding the end zone for the REDBLACKS. The third major score was a Kevin Glenn quarterback sneak.
