  • Only one change from last week for the Riders: Veteran defensive back Marc Olivier Brouillette is back on the roster at safety.
  • Running backs Trent Richardson and Cameron Marshall will once again be off the roster. Marcus Thigpen will get the start again at tailback after rushing for 169 yards in his Rider playoff debut.
  • Offensive lineman Brendon LaBatte remains out of the lineup despite practising this week. Peter Dyakowski and Derek Dennis will be the Riders’ starting guards this week.

  • Linebacker Marcus Ball returns from the 6-game injured list to start at linebacker. Ball moves over to SAM linebacker while Terrence Plummer has done enough to continue playing at WILL. That means Khalil Bass will sit.
  • Some shuffling in the Argos’ defensive backfield, as Cassius Vaughn moves to halfback and Mitchell White moves to corner with rookie Alden Darby on the one-game injured list.
  • Defensive back Johnny Sears Jr. is also on the roster after a lengthy absence and is listed as a backup corner.
  • Defensive end Troy Davis comes off the roster.

  • A number of depth changes for the Eskimos with Christophe Mulumba-Tshimanga, Pascal Lochard, Kevin Jackson and Mike Moore all being added to the roster.
  • Off the roster are Alex Dupuis, Phillip Hunt, Neil King and Duke Williams.
  • Bryant Mitchell also remains off the roster as the Esks continue to lean on the big-three of Brandon Zylstra, Derel Walker and Adarius Bowman plus Vidal Hazelton and Canadian Cory Watson.

  • The Stampeders appear to be getting healthier at the right time, as Dave Dickenson had some difficult decisions to make at receiver and defensive line this week:
  • Ja’Gared Davis, who has nine sacks in 10 games this year, returns after being sidelined since Week 18 and will start opposite Charleston Hughes.
  • Cordarro Law, who practised this week, will not suit up for his first game of 2017. Law has been recovering from a serious injury suffered before the start of the season.
  • Dickenson has nearly a full complement of receivers available to him, with Kamar Jorden, Marquay McDaniel, DaVaris Daniels and Marken Michel all in the lineup. Michel will back up Daniels at boundary wide out.
  • Joe Burnett will play his first game since early September, as the veteran steps in for Shaquille Richardson at SAM linebacker. Tunde Adeleke, however, will get the start, as the Stamps balance the ratio to get four international receivers on the roster.
  • With a healthy set of receivers, Reginald Begelton will be the odd man out in the Stamps’ receiving corps.
