The seven-year CFL vet notched 100 catches for 1,137 yards last season with six touchdowns, the second-consecutive year he’s reached the 100-catch plateau.

“Signing Emmanuel is a significant step toward our goal of keeping our core of talented and productive veterans, as well as building the most talented roster possible for 2018,” said GM Ed Hervey. “He is one of the CFL’s premier receivers and his leadership is a critical part of the culture we want in our dressing room.”

Through seven impressive campaigns and 120 regular season games with the Lions, the two-time CFL All-Star has tallied 524 receptions for 7,616 receiving yards and 54 majors. His career reception total puts him second all-time to Geroy Simon’s 904 while his receiving yards place him third behind Jim Young (9,248) and of course, Geroy Simon (14,756).
