OTTAWA — The REDBLACKS announced on Wednesday that they have released international quarterback Ryan Lindley after just one season in Ottawa.
Lindley signed as a free agent with Ottawa during the 2017 off-season and dressed in all 18 games for the REDBLACKS, starting two. He passed for 391 yards and one major on just over 50% passing.
Lindley is the second backup quarterback released by Ottawa the in the last month after they parted ways with veteran Drew Tate in February a week before signing former Winnipeg Blue Bombers pivot Dominique Davis.
The team also announced the release of international linebacker Lamar Louis and international defensive back Winston Rose.
