Vegas & Winnipeg haven’t had a meeting like this since…

It’s been a while since we’ve seen these two cities go head to head.

With the Winnipeg Jets and the Vegas Golden Knights in the heat of the 2018 Western Conference finals, we thought we’d turn back the CFL clocks a bit.

The year was 1994 and CFLs American expansion was well underway, and the Vegas Posse were coming off a very rough 5-13 season (not quite like the Vegas Golden Knights we know today).

In 1994, almost 24 years ago, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Vegas Posse met in a rather one-sided matchup. The Bombers came out the definitive victor defeating Vegas 48-17.  Now with Vegas and Winnipeg in the Conference Final (first for each franchise) we get to see this strange yet always heated matchup all over again, this time on ice.
