TORONTO — Toronto Argonauts linebacker Bear Woods could be on the sidelines for up to a month, according to a report from TSN’s Matthew Scianitti.
Argonauts head coach Marc Trestman confirmed that Woods under went back surgery in the off-season and will miss the beginning of the season to recover.

Woods played in 17 games with Toronto in 2017, collecting 90 tackles and two sacks in his first season with the Double Blue. The 31-year-old also won his first Grey Cup with the Argonauts last season.
