TORONTO — Toronto Argonauts quarterback Ricky Ray left in the third quarter against the Calgary Stampeders with an injury on Saturday night.
The 38-year-old quarterback took a hit from defensive lineman Cordarro Law while being sacked by defensive lineman Ja’Gared Davis and had to be carted off the field on a stretcher. Ray was was 12 of 17 for 74 yards before suffering the injury.
The team announced that Ray had been ruled out for the remainder of the game, and James Franklin took over under centre for the Double Blue.
