TORONTO — Whether you’re a CFL team, a Total CFL Pick ‘Em player or a CFL.ca writer, there’s a lot on the line, and all of it continues as Week 3 gets set in the Canadian Football League.
We saw the REDBLACKS take care of business against the Roughriders in their season opener last week, but can they do it again against the highly potent Calgary offence?
Our writers all seem to be on the same train of thought, as they agreed on every single game. Well, there is one of them.. *cough*
Total CFL Pick ‘Em is back in 2018 with $5,000 to be awarded to the winner who’s able to Pick ‘Em better than all the rest.

The REDBLACKS enter this one as the underdog. Ottawa kicked off their season a week after everyone else and although their win over the Riders was nothing short of impressive, it is only one win and not enough to shake Bo Levi Mitchell and the Stampeders off of their rolling train.
Is there any momentum left in the tank? If so, Trevor Harris and William Powell will need to duplicate it if the REDBLACKS have any hope of taking advantage of an injury-riddled Calgary defence.

Here’s potentially the biggest game of the week. You’ve got Chris Streveler and the Blue Bombers in one corner. Was last week just a fluke against a struggling Alouettes team, or Streveler the real deal and a natural for the Canadian game?
In the opposite corner, riding a seven-game streak passing for 300+ yards in a game, you’ve got Jeremiah Masoli and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. If the Ticats can come out swinging, Tim Hortons Field will be rocking and it’ll be a long night for Winnipeg.

A familiar face will be prowling the defensive side in Edmonton, but it won’t be for the Eskimos. Odell Willis makes his return to Commonwealth Stadium with hopes of proving himself against his former team and helping the Lions snap a five-game losing streak in Edmonton.
Meanwhile, Mike Reilly and the Eskimos will hope to bounce back from their Week 2 loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and get a game back in this West Division matchup.

Zach Collaros is out and Brandon Bridge is in as the Canadian quarterback gets his third start in the CFL when he takes on the team that drafted him 31st overall in 2015. Duron Carter will also be roaming the Roughriders secondary for the second game in a row with Nick Marshall still out with an injury.
As for the Alouettes, they can only go up from their dismantling to the Blue Bombers last week, right? They’ll need Tyrell Sutton to have a similar performance as William Powell from a week ago versus the very same Riders if Montreal hopes to stand a chance.
