CFL Game Time: Saskatchewan Edition!
I have just stepped in the door at home after an incredible week in the beautiful land of living skies! There is something legitimately magical about being in Saskatchewan as a CFL fan. I have tried to describe it to people and it truly is something you need to experience if you love the league.
The best part about visiting Regina is the PEOPLE! Rider fans, you give the warmest welcome. I immediately feel like part of your family and it’s that kind of prairie hospitality that makes these trips so dang special. Tuesday night I had the chance to join my buds at the Piffles Podcast who had me on to talk about CFL Game Time and The Grind! Amy, who is one of my all time fave CFL buds, baked cookies for me and brought sweet Penelope for the recording of the podcast. Stephen, Alex, Amy you know are true ambassadors of the league and I so enjoyed our visit!
On Wednesday I was up EARLY to hang at Global Regina which is always a blast and then our team went to Mosaic to film our pre-game interviews with both the Ticats and the Riders. We also filmed a few LOL segments such as 20 Questions and Texts From My Mom to use in future episodes of CFL Game Time. Here’s Willy’s interview below!

I am 6ft tall and Willy Jefferson makes me look like a shrimp! He is one of my favourite interviews and also a friend from The Grind – we visited him in Katy Texas, you can watch it HERE!
Speedy B making me LOL during Texts From My Mom! I love filming this series – it’s hilarious how sweet and predicable these guys moms are – we see them as superheroes and stars and forget sometimes they are also sons, brothers, nephews, etc. – and yes, still superheroes and stars.
On Thursday (GAMEDAY!!) I was up bright and early to visit my friends at CTV Regina and then got to the field for a full day!
I was obsessed with our setup for CFL Game Time this week in the Party in the Park. Fans showed up early and cheered throughout the show. You guys tuned in EARLY and got us trending on Twitter so thank you! We will be back with more CFL Game Time LIVE on Facebook next week from Ottawa and hour before kickoff so please come and hang with us. If you won’t be in Ottawa obviously join us online. Have you loved CFL Game Time as much as we have? I feel so lucky to get to get to meet so many of you out on the road and even though the travel has kept Davis and I prettty busy it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of 2018. Then it was actual Game Time where I got to grab the TSN mic and join all of you at home with some check-ins from the stadium.
