WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed national defensive back Jeff Hecht, the team announced Wednesday.
Hecht spent eight seasons in the CFL, making 75 tackles, four forced fumbles and one interception in 100 games played. In 2017, Hecht played in 18 games for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, making 21 tackles on defence, 11 special teams tackles and one forced fumble.
Hecht has also spent time with the Calgary Stampeders and Montreal Alouettes.
The Bombers take on the BC Lions on Saturday night at BC Place, where they hope to improve to 3-2.
