Four players fined after Week 4 action

TORONTO — The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced four fines on Wednesday after Week 4 action.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive lineman Ted Laurent was fined for a low hit on Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Brandon Bridge.

Ottawa REDBLACKS defensive lineman A.C. Leonard was fined for a low hit on Montreal Alouettes quarterback Jeff Mathews.

Montreal Alouettes running back Tyrell Sutton was fined for delivering a blow with the crown of his helmet to the head of Ottawa REDBLACKS defensive back Corey Tidal.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive lineman Sukh Chungh was fined for unnecessary roughness for hitting a BC player (T.J. Lee) late and while he was in a vulnerable position.

The CFL also announced that in Week 3:

Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive lineman Mic’hael Brooks was fined for a high hit while Montreal Alouettes receiver B.J. Cunningham was in a vulnerable position.

As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed
