TORONTO — With only six teams in action, the ongoing debate this week in CFL Fantasy is whether to play a defence.
After some discussion on the CFL Fantasy Podcast followed by more deliberation, the Week 5 Fantasy lineups are in with a few different approaches.
Both Pat Steinberg and Hannah Nordman have decided to avoid playing a defence while stacking up on big-name receivers, while Jeff Krever has elected to pay the price with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers against the BC Lions.
Which strategy will bring the most success this week?
While Hannah and Pat are both deploying the D’haquille Williams-Derel Walker combo, Jeff is taking the path less traveled with a different Eskimos duo in Kenny Stafford and C.J. Gable.
The extra money he’s saving is allowing him to stack up Bombers running back Andrew Harris with Winnipeg’s defence.
For Pat and Hannah, the difference could come down to the quarterback position, where Pat is leaning on Matt Nichols in his second start back from injury while Hannah takes Bo Levi Mitchell in an intriguing Thursday night matchup with Ottawa.
You can find Jeff, Pat and Hannah’s lineups listed below, and also vote on which lineup you think will have the most success.
