Bo Levi Mitchell questionable for Week 6

CALGARY — The undefeated Calgary Stampeders may be without their star signal-caller in Bo Levi Mitchell in Week 6 versus the Montreal Alouettes.

Following the team’s practice on Monday, Head Coach Dave Dickenson said that although quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell was able to participate in some non-contact drills, he expects Mitchell to be “day-to-day, if not week-to-week.”

Dickenson said he will be evaluating Mitchell throughout the week to ensure he’s capable of playing at a competitive level before making the decision on whether he plays Calgary’s Week 6 matchup versus Montreal.

The 2016 Most Oustanding Player completed 16 of 21 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown before getting pulled due to an injury sustained earlier in the game versus the Ottawa REDBLACKS.

Calgary would go on to defeat the REDBLACKS 27-3, giving Mitchell his 60th career win in just 72 games started — making him the fastest quarterback to reach that mark in CFL history.

So far, in 2018, Mitchell has completed 72 of his 114 total pass attempts while passing for 1,038 yards, which ranks third in the league. He also currently ranks second in total touchdown passes with seven on the year through four games.

The Stamps host the Alouettes to wrap up the Week 6 schedule on Saturday, with a 9:00 p.m. ET kickoff at McMahon Stadium.
