TORONTO — One day after his release, Duron Carter is already taking calls from CFL teams looking to acquire the all-star receiver.

According to Farhan Lalji of TSN, the Montreal Alouettes, Toronto Argonauts, BC Lions and Hamilton Tiger-Cats have all shown interest and some may have made contract offers.

Talk about where Carter would land next started just hours after his release with general manager Kavis Reed telling  Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette, that the Als had already expressed interest in bringing Carter back to where his career in the CFL began.

“GM Kavis Reed told me after the game he will contact receiver Duron Carter,” Zurkowsky tweeted.

More to come …
