Running back Cameron Marshall returns to Riders

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have re-added international tailback Cameron Marshall, signing him to a practice roster agreement Monday.

Marshall suited up in 10 games last season with the Riders, rushing for 543 yards and two touchdowns on 101 carries.   He also added 280 yards and a pair of majors receiving.

The Arizona State product joins a crowded backfield that already features a the tandem of Tre Mason and Marcus Thigpen who have been sharing reps. Marshall returns after the Riders parted ways with Jerome Messam last month after learning of a criminal charge that stemmed back to 2016.
