EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimos announced on Tuesday a series of transactions ahead of their Week 10 matchup against the Montreal Alouettes.

Fourth-year linebacker Adam Konar has been activated from the team’s six-game injury list after injuring himself in Edmonton’s season opener in Winnipeg.

Konar re-signed with the Green and Gold after a strong 2017 campaign that saw the former Calgary Dino tally 63 total tackles, a sack, two interceptions and a forced fumble.

Fellow Canadian linebacker Christophe Mulumba has also been activated by the club, while linebacker Doug Parrish and long-snapper Tanner Doll have both been signed to the team.

The Eskimos also announced the release of national receiver Samuel Giguere.

Giguere signed with Edmonton back on June 27, 2018 after spending time with both the Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats since entering the league in 2012.

Giguere dressed for six games this season making two receptions for a total of 32 yards. He also returned two kicks for 36 yards.

Linebacker Jeremiah Kose and offensive lineman Kelvin Palmer have also been released by the Eskimos.
