TORONTO — Even with rising costs, there should be no shying away from the high-flying Edmonton Eskimos in Week 10 of CFL Fantasy.
The Esks have a matchup with the struggling Alouettes, setting up Mike Reilly ($14,000), Duke Williams ($8,325), Derel Walker ($8,559) and even the team defence ($3,745) for unprecedented success.

Two Eskimos in particular land in this week’s Fantasy locks, led by Williams and running back C.J. Gable ($7,466) — although it should be cautioned that Gable may not play this week after missing practice time.
“He’s had two rough games in a row,” said Jeff Krever of the CFL Fantasy Podcast in reference to Williams, “and the slotbacks — whether it’s Greg Ellingson, Duke Williams did it a couple of weeks ago — these guys have killed Montreal this year and I think Duke is going to have another monstrous game.
“He has to be in your lineup this week. Has to be.”

It’s no surprise the Eskimos are dominating this week’s projections, led by Reilly at 37.4 points, the highest projected total so far this season.
But while Reilly and his top two receivers are highly-coveted this week, Pat Steinberg is leaning on whoever ends up playing running back.
While Gable has been inconsistent this season, Saturday’s contest with Montreal should provide plenty of trips to the red zone and that means more chances to score touchdowns.
“I love the matchup against the Montreal Alouettes, who are giving up more than 126 yards on the ground every game,” said Steinberg. “I know he’s been a little more hit or miss this year, but going up against this defence and a team that’s struggled against the run, I think Gable is going to have himself a whale of a game.”
If Gable can’t play, Shaq Cooper appears to be next in line for the Eskimos. Cooper’s value could lead to roster flexibility elsewhere so keep a close eye on the situation.
While Pat and Jeff lean on the high-scoring Eskimos this week, Hannah Nordman is hoping Argos receiver S.J. Green can continue to build chemistry with his new starting quarterback. Green is coming off his best week of the season and appears to have found a spark.
“He had a massive week with McLeod Bethel-Thompson throwing him the ball, he had 35 points,” said Nordman. “I feel good about the matchup up against BC and that’s really why I’m leaning towards this Bethel-Thompson, Green combo.”
