Eskimos’ Alexandre Dupuis to miss remainder of season
EDMONTON — The Eskimos announced on Monday that national fullback Alexandre Dupuis had torn his left bicep during the game against Montreal this past week, in which Edmonton won 40-24 to improve to 6-3 on the year.
The injury brings an end to Dupuis’ fifth season in the Canadian Football League. He came into the league as a member of the Toronto Argonauts after spending his university career at the University of Montreal.
The 28-year-old from Montreal, Quebec dressed in all nine of Edmonton’s games this season, registering one reception for 12 yards on offence and a tackle on special teams.
