Bombers place Hardrick on 6-game; activate Dressler

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have placed international offensive tackle Jermarcus Hardrick on the six-game injured list.

The 2017 West Division all-star has started every game this season for the Blue Bombers at left tackle and is one of the leaders on an offensive line that is second in the league in sacks allowed and boasts the CFL’s top rusher in Andrew Harris.

Hardrick’s addition to the long-term injured list coincides with the activation of Weston Dressler who has been removed from the 6-game.

The veteran pass-catcher suffered an injury in Week 9’s contest against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.  Dressler has hauled in 319 yards and two touchdowns so far this season. Over his 11-year career, the five-foot-seven, 168-pound receiver has collected 9,810 yards and 58 touchdowns.

The Blue Bombers have yet to confirm the status of either injury and it is unknown if Dressler will return this week or be placed on the 1-game injured list.
