Jorden leaves Labour Day early with injury

CALGARY — The CFL’s second-leading receiver, Kamar Jorden, left Monday’s Labour Day matchup with the Edmonton Eskimos with an injury.

There is no official word from the Stampeders on the extent of the injury.

Jorden got rolled over on a block late in the second quarter and limped off the field.  He went to the Calgary locker room shortly thereafter and did not return.

Jorden was on a tear leading up the injury, coming off a career-game against Winnipeg where he had a 10-catch, 249-yard outing.  He had three receptions for 49 yards before leaving.

More to come …
