Which touchdown celebration was best through Week 14?

The Hippo has finally fallen. For the first time in weeks, there is a new winning touchdown celebration!

The Saskatchewan Roughriders trolling stair climb beat out The Hippo – 63 per cent of you liked the Riders celly better than Winnipeg’s.

This week, the challenger is the Montreal Alouettes and their ode to the King of Pop. Before we get to that, let’s remind ourselves of the Roughriders celebration.

With just over a minute left in the second quarter, Bombers QB Matt Nichols scrambled in the pocket looking for someone to pass the ball to on the Riders seven yard line. He ended up finding a pair of gloves to pass the ball to, but it wasn’t one of his teammates.

The ball popped out of Nichols’ hands and right into Riders linebacker Sam Eguavoen’s mitts. Eguavoen ran down the field and into the end zone fore the 103-yard score to give Saskatchewan a 20-17 lead.

The last few weeks, the Bombers have been walking up the stairs to celebrate with their fans so the Riders decided, why don’t we do the same? So funny.

Something tells me Bombers fans weren’t too happy about it!

And now for the Riders’ challenger – the Montreal Alouettes.

It was almost the end of the first half and the BC Lions were on their own 35-yard line and the Alouettes were trailing 10-6. With just over two minutes left on the clock, Branden Dozier picked off a Jonathon Jennings pass and returned it 17-yards.

Then, the magic happened.

The entire Montreal Alouettes defence rallied together and danced Micheal Jackson’s iconic Thriller moves. So. So. Good.

Now, I just want to say that I would have given these guys way more style points if they waited to do this celebration closer to Halloween, but I digress, it was still incredible.

Which celebration did you like the best? The Riders trolling stair climb or the Alouettes Thriller? Have your say below!
