Which touchdown celebration was best through Week 16?

The Roughriders reign supreme once again.

59 per cent of you liked the Saskatchewan’s Troll Stroll better than the REDBLACKS’ Charlie Brown rendition.

This week, Saskatchewan goes head to head with Calgary Stampeders receiver Marken Michel and his lightsaber fight.

First, let’s get a quick reminder of Saskatchewan’s stroll up the stairs.

With just over a minute left in the second quarter, Bombers QB Matt Nichols scrambled in the pocket looking for someone to pass the ball to on the Riders seven yard line. He ended up finding a pair of gloves to pass the ball to, but it wasn’t one of his teammates.

The ball popped out of Nichols’ hands and right into Riders linebacker Sam Eguavoen’s mitts. Eguavoen ran down the field and into the end zone fore the 103-yard score to give Saskatchewan a 20-17 lead.

The last few weeks, the Bombers have been walking up the stairs to celebrate with their fans so the Riders decided, why don’t we do the same? So funny.

Something tells me Bombers fans weren’t too happy about it!

And now on to the Stampeders.

Early in the first quarter against the Toronto Argonauts, Bo Levi Mitchell handed the ball off to Michel on a fly sweep. The Stamps receiver took the ball 36 yards into the end zone and made great use of the new rule about using props.

Michel and teammate Lemar Durant picked up the end zone pylons and began to have a lightsaber fight. Awesome.

Our team here at the CFL did a pretty incredible edit of this celebration:

So which celebration did you like better? The Roughriders’ Troll Stroll or Michel’s Lightsaber?
