CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have placed Marken Michel on the six-game injured list after the receiver suffered a broken scapula, according a report from the Calgary Sun’s Danny Austin.

The loss of Michel adds to the already injury-riddled receiving corps in Calgary, as Kamar Jorden, Reggie Begelton and DaVaris Daniels are all out of the lineup.

In his second season in Calgary, the five-foot-11, 190-pound pass-catcher has played in 11 games and amassed 435 yards and five touchdown. He enjoyed a stellar rookie season in 2017, playing in 13 games and hauling in 41 passes for 780 yards and three major scores. That performance helped him to become the West nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie.

The Stampeders host the BC Lions in Week 18 action.
