OHL’s Steelheads to host Pinball Clemons Game

The Ontario Hockey League’s Mississauga Steelheads will host their inaugural Pinaball Clemons Game on Sunday against the Sudbury Wolves.

The Steelheads will rock Pinball Clemons Foundation-themed jerseys along with a patch.

“Every kid deserves the best,” said Clemons, a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, in a Steelheads press release. “We continue to find programs to help marginalized youth grow, achieve, get better, be better and envision a better life.

“Every youth is worth it!”

Mississauga will auction off the jerseys online following Sunday’s game, and donate all proceeds from Sunday’s 50/50 draw.

“They invest in the best charities that provide both wrap-around and holistic approaches to local and international sustainability through education,” said the team in a press release. “They are making the invisible, visible…powerful, independent and strong!

“The ultimate goal is not a diploma or degree – Mike and Diane want to see youth gainfully employed in careers they desire.”

Puckdrop is scheduled for 2 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.
