Bombers sign DB Anthony Gaitor through 2020

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have extended the contract of international defensive back Anthony Gaitor through the 2020 season, the team announced on Wednesday.

Gaitor was entering the final year of his agreement in the 2019 season.

The five-foot-10, 182-pounder spent the 2018 season with Winnipeg after signing as a free agent from the BC Lions. He recorded two interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, two sacks and 27 defensive tackles in ten games. Gaitor has played three CFL seasons (the first two in BC), and recorded 100 defensive tackles, two sacks, five interceptions, four defensive touchdowns and two forced fumbles in 33 games.
