Riders’ Clark in stable condition after auto accident

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced that Dan Clark is in stable condition following a single-vehicle accident.

In a statement issued Tuesday night, the team revealed that Clark was traveling home from a community event on Tuesday afternoon when he accident occurred. Clark was taken to hospital for further assessment and is stable and alert.

The Regina native, who turns 31 in June, is set to enter his eighth CFL season. He originally joined the club in 2012, eventually becoming the Riders’ starting centre.
