Riders release kicker Tyler Crapigna

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have released national kicker Tyler Crapigna, the team announced on Tuesday.

The five-foot-seven, 180-pounder joined the Riders in 2015. He missed the entire 2018 season with an injury.

Over three seasons with Saskatchewan, Crapigna played in 36 total games. He made 76 of 88 field goal attempts (86.4 per cent) and connected on 47 of 47 convert attempts.

The McMaster University product was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the fifth round (40th overall) in the 2014 CFL Draft.
