Eskimos release OL Mason Woods

EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimos have released national offensive lineman Mason Woods, the team announced on Friday.

Woods was traded to the Eskimos in December 2017 in exchange for quarterback James Franklin and a third round pick in the 2018 CFL Draft. He has yet to see any action in the CFL.

Woods was selected by the Toronto Argonauts in the second round (10th overall) of the 2017 CFL draft. The six-foot-nine, 324-pounder attended University of Idaho where he appeared in 34 games.
