CALGARY — According to Mark Stephen of CHQR, Calgary Stampeders offensive guard Brad Erdos will miss the rest of the 2019 season after tearing his patella tendon.
The news was revealed Saturday, and Erdos is reportedly set to undergo surgery to repair the injury.

Erdos, 29, started all 18 regular season games for Stamps last season, eventually helping them capture the 106th Grey Cup presented by Shaw. With Erdos’ help, the Stamps’ O-line tied a league low with just 27 sacks allowed.
While Canadians Ryan Sceviour and Justin Lawrence compete for the starting centre job, there’s a chance one of them could move to guard to replace Erdos. There’s also the possibility if a ratio change if the club opts to move Ucambre Williams back from tackle.
