REDBLACKS release DB Troy Stoudermire
OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS have released international defensive back Troy Stoudermire, the team announced on Monday.
Stoudermire spent the 2018 season with the Calgary Stampeders, playing in nine games and collecting nine defensive tackles and six special teams tackles. Before joining Calgary, the five-foot-10, 187-pounder spent two seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2014, 2015) and one with the Edmonton Eskimos (2016). Over his career, the 28-year-old has suited up in 34 games and tallied 15 defensive tackles, 10 special teams tackles and one interception.
The team also announced that international receiver R.J. Shelton has been released and the following three players have been added to the roster:
