MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes have signed international defensive lineman Chad Geter, the team announced on Tuesday.
Geter, 22, spent the 2018 season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. In 18 games, the six-foot-one, 245-pounder collected 17 defensive tackles, 17 special teams tackles and three sacks.
He was a final training camp cut made by the Riders earlier this month.
The Montreal Alouettes open their season on Friday in Edmonton in a battle against the Eskimos.
