Welcome to your weekly recap of the best in social media around the CFL.

Winnipeg 28, Edmonton 21

Lucky Whitehead stole both the show — with an electric 155-yard, two-TD performance — and the hearts of the Bombers faithful in Winnipeg on Thursday Night Football.

It wasn’t all fun and games for the Bombers, however, as the team lost 2019 draft pick Brady Oliveira to a nasty ankle injury.

TNF featured a solid halftime performance by CFL fan favourites The Reklaws, who included their hit TNF theme song “Long Live The Night” in their set list.

Hamilton 41, Montreal 10

The Ticats are rolling at 3-0, and head to Montreal in Week 4 with all the momentum in the world.

A group of Ticats dressed up and showed out at the 2019 Queen’s Plate at Woodbine later on Canada Day weekend.

Calgary 36, BC 32

Backup QB Nick Arbuckle lifted the Stamps to a memorable comeback victory, then took to Twitter to clarify his lack of celebration on the game-winning touchdown:

It was a big win for the Stamps, who were far from their best but managed to pull it out of the fire.

Saskatchewan 32, Toronto 7

It was all Riders from the outset on Canada Day Monday, with Saskatchewan sprinting to a 25-0 lead and never looking back.

The panel got a little excited during a two-plus-hour weather delay in Regina.

The new-look Gainer — mascot of the Riders — drew some interesting reactions on social.

Hamilton fan Laura Stewart summed it up well.
