WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be without receiver Chris Matthews for the second-straight week.

Matthews missed last week’s contest against the Toronto Argonauts and was left off the team’s depth chart that was released on Thursday ahead of Winnipeg’s matchup against the Ottawa REDBLACKS.

The six-foot-five, 230-pound pass-catcher was injured in Week 4’s game against Ottawa in the first half and did not return. The Bombers will roll with Darvin Adams, Lucky Whitehead, Kenny Lawler and Drew Wolitarsky at receiver as they look to improve to 5-0 on the season.

In two games so far this year, Matthews has hauled in three passes for 26 yards.

Kickoff between Ottawa and Winnipeg is at 8:30 p.m. ET on Friday night.
